APRIL: Songkran
The Thai New Years, coincide with the hottest summer month. The splashing of water is a cleansing ritual to bring luck and prosperity for the coming year. Visit now for a 3 days country wide water fight.

NOVEMBER: Loy Kratong
Kratong (decorated banana leaf boats) floating  to give thanks to Phra Mae Kongka (the goddess of water). This symbolise the floating away of bad luck and karma. Head up north for Yee Peng, where they release lanterns into the sky.
